Hyundai Xcent facelift sub-compact sedan which is scheduled to launch in the Indian market on April twenty has been spied without camouflage for the very first time. The updated two thousand seventeen Xcent sedan will be based on fresh Grand i10 facelift with the same width as that of hatchback sibling. As compared to previous counterpart, the fresh Xcent sedan will bag host of exterior updated which includes all-new grille design, fresh fog lamps as well as fresh rear bumper. The top of the line variant will be seen carrying a 14-inch diamond cut alloys. The updated Xcent will be seen with the same dimension figures with length of 3995mm, width of 1660mm and height of 1520mm. The wheelbase and ground clearance stands at 2425mm and 165mm respectively alongside boot space capacity of 407-litres. The updates will be seen on the inwards as well wherein the sedan will flaunt a revised dashboard sporting a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility. In terms of features, the sedan will also come with cooled glove box, wise key function and driver s side auto down power window, multi-functional steering wheel, rear parking sensors, Six pack, airbags, adjustable OVRMs and much more. Under the skin, the updated Xcent will be tooled with the same petrol unit along with fresh diesel option. The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine which is capable of developing eighty four bhp of max power against the peak torque of 114Nm will be mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic as an option. On the other arm, the fresh 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel which will substitute the 1.1-litre oil burner is capable of developing 74bhp and 190Nm of power figures and will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The fresh diesel engine is believed to be more refined unit which is capable of delivering more power and fuel efficiency.
