Ferrari four hundred eighty eight Spider pops up Naked in China
Published on September 7, two thousand fifteen by Joey Wang
The spectacular two thousand sixteen Ferrari four hundred eighty eight Spider will officially debut on the Frankfurt Motor Demonstrate later this month, but China got it very first. A pearl white example was seen in the fine city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, at what emerges to be a training of some sort.
The Ferrari four hundred eighty eight Spider is the open-top version of the Ferrari four hundred eighty eight GTB. Power comes from a ferocious Trio.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8, good for 670hp and 760nm. The Spider will be launched on the Chinese car market in Q4. Price yet unknown, but it will be at least half a million more expensive than the GTB which goes for Trio.38 million yuan or 530.000 USD.
Roof down! Fortunately the weather was good down there in Nanjing. Beautifully sculpted rear end, but the engine is invisible now.
The dash is the same as in the GTB, except for…
… a littler monochrome screen for the passenger, which shows revs, speed, gear, and G-forces.
The wifey will love it.
Update. The same car seen in front of a Ferrari-Maserati dealer in Nanjing. We will get more photos soon, fresh post to go after tomorrow!

[…] The four hundred eighty eight Spider is the latest in a long line of Ferrari convertibles, and it’s a special car indeed. Its public debut at the two thousand fifteen Frankfurt Motor Showcase is rapidly approaching, but before that happens, a photographer in China has managed to snap a few pictures of the car sans camouflage. Some cars just photograph well, and despite the lack of professional lighting and high-end equipment, the four hundred eighty eight you see above is clearly a natural in front the camera. The photos come via Car News China. […]

You can also visit the +1 tab on your Google+ profile to review and manage all of your +1’s. Learn more about how to get to your +1 tab.
