The unverified footage was recorded in the town of Elektrostal in Russia’s Moscow Oblast region
HILARIOUS footage emerges to showcase a woman attempting to fake an accident by throwing herself on a zebra crossing in front of a car – while it is still twenty feet away.
The driver, whose name has not been released, captured the incident on the dashcam of his car in the town of Elektrostal in North-western Russia's Moscow Oblast region.
The unverified clip shows the woman, wearing a blue masked cover and black pants, all of a sudden running out in front of the vehicle.
She lies down with her head facing the ground and starts to roll around as if she is badly hurt.
But the car stops long before reaching the woman and there are no others anywhere near her.

The driver claimed he also noticed someone behind him filming the incident with a smartphone from a different angle, which he felt could have made it look as if he hit the woman.
He feared he was being set up for a compensation scam in which the woman would sue him for her supposed injuries, or make a false insurance claim against him.
He said he drove around the woman and went straight to the nearest police station to report the incident, displaying officers the movie to prove he had done nothing wrong.
It is not known whether cops launched an investigation into the woman and her alleged accomplice.
The motorist later posted the dashcam footage on video-sharing websites where it went viral.
One man calling himself Artem commented: “These fake scammers should be penalized and put in jail.”
